New bathroom & living room extension

We went to Walla Walla a couple of weekends ago. It was beautiful and serene. We stayed at an inn which was in the middle of the wheat fields. The property was beautiful and had a swimming pool but it was too cold. There also was a yoga studio which we also did not use. We had good food and wine and we enjoyed the beautiful neighborhoods with the large houses and the quaint downtown. We visited a friend downtown and had coffee and attended the Feast of Walla Walla. We drove around until we found quiet roads with peaceful surroundings.

We drove down to Oregon to the Blue Mountains until we found some snow.

Happy New Year (late) !

Here is Roger planting some bamboo on our property which we recently have gotten back from Sound Transit. You can see the trackway in the background. Newman, the chow chow is pretty casual:

Hi - just back from first trip to Mexico. Went to Mérida in the Yucatan where my partner and I have bought a house. Here are some pictures of the house and some friends.....we went to Chich'en Itzá and also visited the beach and some of the area's cenote (sinkholes). The new bathroom is very fancy but alas not quite finished. We also drove to the coast - Playa del Carmen which was also fantastic.

Hi we had about an inch of snow which equals about a blizzard in the Pacific NW - kinda blurry pics from my phone but you get the idea. Newman and I had a nice walk - he doesn't care for the rain but he seems at home in the snow....

whirlwind trip to South America

Roger went on a last minute business trip to Ushuaia, Argentina and then a couple of nights R & R in Buenos Aires - he had to deliver parkas to an adventure cruise ship headed for Antarctica

Sound Transit is almost finished with our property -mulch and bark and small native type plants have been added - the fence is coming soon and the wall on top of the track is almost complete
